Starting on it tomorrow. 82 scrambler, pulling motor,t-case,manual trans,front 30,rear 20, radiator.

going back with a Z06 motor,4L60E,Atlas,Currie 609 front,Currie 9 rear:D

call me if you want something. I wont know what gears or if they have lockers until I get them out. Everything else works just fine, real clean Jeep.

CJ8s, gotta love them. I have a 1985 CJ7 and have always wanted a CJ8. Post some pictures when you have a chance.

Very cool rig Chuck. You sure you don't want to swap your CJ8 for my CJ7? ha ha ha

No, it has the crappy 258. My carb is leaking like crazy and my T5 tranny is shoot. I found a 1997 S10 that I have been considering buying and using the 4.3 vortec and the auto transmission out of it. Advance Adapters makes the engine mounts and transfer case adapter plate. Of course this would slow my progress on my Class 3 build but that little Jeep is fun to wheel.
