Does anyone know this team #370 aka #308 a long time ago?

Who are they?

One main thing I've noticed is the driving style between the two drivers. I'm guessing that there are two drivers that alternate races, since some races I see a much more aggressive style. One is hard on the gas through the whoops, and charging the course, then the next race I see a much more conservative style, much slower almost night and day. Or it may possibly be them still working out the bugs.

Has anyone else noticed this? R you on this site or anyone know them?

Thats us. I have driven almost all of the laps so what you have noticed other then maybe a handfull of laps that I haven't driven, because I was sick or food poisoning, was me. The way "I try to" drive is just to be faster then 2nd place so I don't break the truck. Our goal for last year was to get the "True Grit Award" for finishing every lap of every race in MDR. We did finish everylap, but did not win the award. With running both series for MDR last year if there was two races only a couple of weeks apart we ran a little easier as we did not get the prep time and our goal was finishes. Thanks for noticing I hope when we were running hard we looked good, or at least made you laugh.

Lee,
Awsome.. I hope like meantioned above you are making out to the 250 at the end of the month. I've also noticed you have messed with the valving up front, it looks like it handles very nicely. Thumps up to you and your crew!

Thanks, Convoy.... We will not be running Barstow at the end of the month. We have decided to try BITD this year and I can't afford to run much more then those races. Good luck Retroblazer I hope that little black bronco doesn't try to protest like he wanted to at Lucerne to us last year. Pigracing- Yes we ran both series last year we only missed the Oct. and New Years races with superstitions. We missed New Years because we ran Henderson and damaged the truck beyond what we could fix before New Years.

Lee,
Although I would have hoped for you to continue with MDR since it's so close, I wish you a successful season with Best in the Desert.

I'm bummed, my race was with you, not the little black bronco. I doubt he protests anyone. My understanding is that unless there are five entries, he's out of luck collecting contingency. As someone stated above, good luck in the BITD.

Yeah I was at both of those races and didn't remember seeing you.
Again, good luck with BITD.

Please re-frase your queston.

Lee Orr was running MDR for a while & MDR's rules seem less strict than SCORE & they will allow you to Run a 2WD so it seems..

Then again theres this protest happy guy in a Early Bronco guy at MDR that kept protesting many things including Orrs 2WD, So he just basically said Fawk it & moved to BITD ( from what I understand )
& also from what I understand BITD seems much better in many ways than SCORE.

If I ever get my Bronco past tech I might go for that.

You covered it, 3 is an exclusively 4wd class as I understood, if their was some loophole to allow 2wd I would probably want to take advantage of it, seems like it would save a significant amount of money. Figured there might be some crazy chance that 2WD was just the name of a sponsor or something.

Brandon, I'd really like to see you join the ranks of class 3. :)

But it sounds more like you'd prefer the 2WD JeepSpeed class.

No, I like 3, I'm not a fan of driver's classes, I want a class where winning or losing doesn't depend solely on prep and skill, but ingenuity at the drawing table. I should be a poet. I like that class 3 is basically do whatever you want to your vehicle without changing how it looks. (over simplification of the rules)

If 2wd was legal I know I could design my own better front suspension for less than a kit. I know I could still do it with four wheel drive, but then I would have to take a crash course in driveline geometry.
