I think the Bronco used to be Rick from UWeld's...Chris could probably confirm.

I like the Bronco. Sure needs some work if the new owner wants to race it in the dezert. He says he is getting 14" of travel. I thought that wasn't really possible because of drivshaft concerns.

I'm getting just over 15 inches all around with my TTB. :)

The reason I said that was because I thought I had read some where that the Moss Bros were only getting 12" of travel and they have the same year of Bronco. Are the driveshaft issues pretty much the same with the TTB as the solid axle 78-79 Broncos?

That I could not answer..

But I know Dave-G has told me I have more travel than they do & he would love to swap to a TTB, but the rules dont allow this unless they get a later model.

& considering how they've proven that with the right skills you can compensate for suspension travel.

Yes, the blue Bronco was built by Rick Snell four or five years ago if I recall correctly.

It says it has 14" shocks, NOT that it has 14" of travel. Not really that big of an issue over 3 or 4" of travel. Lots of good parts, just not the prettiest.

I just saw it race the other weekend. It may need more work now.
