Might try to come to a race and help out if I could.
Congrats on the shop build !!! The short answer is yes, you can get IFS if it came on the vehicle at some point. SCORE allowed Dale White to add IFS to his Blazer. SCORE wants people to race the class, so they are flexible.
Sign up for the VORRA page on FB to get updates. The Nevada races that they will be hosting aren't too far from Boise. It beats Mexico or Southern Nevada for travel times. And hopefully this year's entry fee of $350 continues next year.

So did a Blazer ever come with an IFS 4x4?

Yes, there was a full size Blazer that came with a torsion bar, a-arm suspension in the early 90's.

Oh?
Well then of course.
I didn't realize that.
How would the rules be applied towards the Torsion bar suspension?
Would he be allowed to not run them?

Or might they be good for Off Road racing?

I just checked in and looked again...
Chris I moved north to Sandpoint, ID. Would fly from Spokane to a race if I could make it. My foundation/footings for the shop are currently under a few feet of snow... but will be framing, etc. when it melts!
