Exclamation 1958 willys FC 170 Jeep parts or Project!

My friend has a bunch of parts laying around his back yard, pretty much enough to build your own Rig if you were so inclined & so its up for grabs if anyone is interested.

Make an offer.

The frame & bed & Cab & doors & dash & etc etc are there
& an inline 6 Cyl Engine & etc are included, The axles are gone!

Posting it here 1st before going public.

Part of me is thinking of claiming the cab & doing it up & putting it in my yard next to the shed to look like a truck back there but it would actually be additional shed space?

Maybe build shelves inside it & tint the windows?
& yes I'd need an axle & tires etc to make it look right.

I had a friend in high school that had a forward control Jeep pickup. He put a 300 Ford six in it and a model 44 front axle out of a early Bronco with disc brakes. When the bed was empty and he stomped on the brakes it would do an awesome nose wheelie that would make you wet yourself. It was an awesome truck though.

Bummer is that this would be a major project. considering its all in pieces & so incomplete, this was actually a parts rig for the other one he had & then sold.

I'm seriously considering taking the cab for myself & letting him scrap the rest.
I'm thinking maybe a dog house or additional storage shed in my yard that would have some cool style?
I was already wanting an automotive type theme to my yard & was gonna make my shed look like a gas station & then maybe place the cab next to it as if it was a complete truck?

I'll give it another day or 2 & the list it on the FC forums & if it don't go I'll just keep the cab?

Better things to do

First, it would not be fun to be perched up on the front end of the truck while racing and second, if you put this thing in your yard, I'll bet money your wife will cut your balls off in the middle of the night when you least expect it.

1st off the comment about racing in Class 3 was a complete joke & figured you would in no way of thought I was serious!

Then again if you love the hard bouncing of sitting above the axle... LOL!

& as far as the Yard placement she has already giving me the ok, I'm just hold back.
Yet was also considering maybe just taking the grill portion & mounting it on the fence in my back yard & making it with working headlights & etc..... LOL!

more looney ideas

I have to admit after drinking some vino and retrieving some veggies from my garden, it did strike me that your Jeep cab could be converted to a greenhouse with the addition of a sun roof and the original cab glass.

Knock yourself out!!

A green house was another thought & yet my yard is very small, so 1st I'll try to find home for these parts & not I may keep the cab?

Really like to find someone that needs these parts though.
